Sensational Ghanaian afro-pop, dancehall and reggae artiste known in real life as Emmanuel Andrews Samini, with the stage named Samini, has finally replied rumors already circulating that his collaboration with Lynx artiste Kidi was meant to push his numb music career back to the lime light.
In an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye live on Radio Central in Cape Coast, Samini made it known that it’s unfortunate and very distasteful for people to think he is riding on the new artistes for him to get new hit songs.
According to him, looking at his track records, songs that he had collaborated with other artistes doesn’t hit the way he wants it.
“All the hit songs from my music gallery are songs I recorded without any collaboration. I have rather helped lots of artiste to get mainstream hit songs, but it’s unfortunate its doesn’t work out for me”, he said.
Explaining further, the dancehall artist said, he does not need to ride on Kidi to get a hit song, but it’s a beautiful thing to get a good connection with the young rising artistes.
Samin is ready to release his seventh studio album on his pending birthday on 22nd December 2018, dubbed ‘Untamed’ to the world. The album has 22 songs on it, with all being reggae songs without collaborations with other artistes.
